LN Choir Cat Clips: Week of 8/18

Good morning LN Choir families,

This past weekend, our show choirs had an awesome choreo day with our choreographer Joe and we continue to be so excited about this year in the LN Choir Program! We have a lot of items to cover for this week’s choir cat clips. Please read through the clips below and as always we encourage you to check out our LNCB website at www.lawrencenorthchoirs.org .

Clip #1 – Private Voice Lessons Available Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school day

  • We are very pleased to announce that we have a phenomenal Private Lesson Instructor that will be at LN every Wednesday and Thursday during the school day. Students will have the opportunity to sign up for Private Voice Lessons during their Study Hall, Lunch and Release Blocks.
  • A 30 minute lesson costs $30
  • If you are interested in signing your student up for private voice lessons, please fill out the Google form at this link.

Clip #2 – LNCB Parent Meeting Saturday, August 23rd (12:00-2:00)

  • We have an extremely important LN Choir Booster parent meeting this Saturday, August 23rd from noon- 2:00 p.m.
  • We will be covering critical information regarding the LN Choir calendar, fundraising, choir fees, the LNCB Sponsorship Program, and other pertinent logistics for the year.
  • Pending administration approval of the show, will be hopefully be able to announce LN’s 2026 Spring Musical at the end of this meeting
  • We need at least 1 representative from each choir family to attend the meeting

Clip #4 – Additional LNCB Fundraising Opportunities

  • Sign up for Raise Right  (join code = TBR7P1M7HGUZ) to earn money towards choir fees for everyday purchases!
  • Work LNPA Concessions to earn $20 per shift toward choir fees
  • We will be launching our schoolfundr campaign next week (this is replacing Snap-Raise)
  • We will have two Chile Verde Dine-to-Donate fundraisers coming up in the next two months (details will be sent soon)
  • We will be selling Double Good popcorn again this fall (more details will be sent as we approach the launch date)

  • Wednesday, August 20th 3:45 – 4:15 p.m. LN Crew Cats Callout Meeting: sign-up at this link
  • Wednesday, August 20th 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Legacy Rehearsal (Joe Here to finish Song 1)
  • Thursday, August 21st 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Bella Bravada Rehearsal (Joe Here to finish Song 1)

  • Friday, September 5th – Show Choirs Sing National Anthem at Homecoming Game
  • Saturday, September 6th 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Show Choir Clinic (sign-up to volunteer at this link)
  • Saturday, September 13th – LN Show Choir Choreography Day (Song #2)
    • 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. Legacy learning choreo for “We Own the Night”
    • 12:00- 3:00 p.m. Bella Bravada learning choreo for “Best Friend’s Sunshine”
