LN Choir Cat Clips for Week of September 1st

LN Choir Members, Crew Cats, and Families,

As we move into the month of September, there are so many exciting things happening in the LN Choir Program! Between fundraisers, performances, and starting our LNSC set construction projects, this month is packed full and we need as much help as possible to ensure our success for each of these events. Please read through the five choir cat clips below for this week and, as always, we encourage you to check out our LNCB websitefor updated information. 

Clip #1 – School Fundr is Live! 

  • We have launched our 2025 donation campaign through Schoolfundr. You can donate at this link.
  • You can find detailed instruction on how register your account at this link
    • The goal for this fundraiser is actually $20,000 despite the company’s recommendation of $10,000; we will need 100% participation in order to reach this goal
  • 100% participation = all LN Choir Members and Crew Cats members enter at least 20 emails into your registered account; post your individual donation link on your personal social media accounts multiple times per week; send your individual donation link to all of your cell phone contacts
  • Using choir photos is an extremely effective way of getting people interested and invested in our program; use your own pictures, and/or feel free to use pictures from our website
  • Here is an overview of how we are doing so far after 4 days of our campaign
    • We have 83 members signed up (this requires an average of $240 donations per student to reach $20,000 goal)
    • We have 150 people that should be participating (i.e., we only have 55% participation so far). If we had everyone participate, the average donation needed for each student would be $135!! 
    • After Day #4 of our campaign, Bella is the choir that has brought in the most donations as well as the highest donation average (only 25/52 Bella Bravada members have signed up)
    • After Day #4, Amelia Westendorf still has the most donations (i.e., 9 donations so far)
    • After Day #4, the Highest amount donated is also Amelia Westendorf, who has brought in $600 in donations already!! GO AMELIA!!
    • After Day #4, the total raised = $3,215 (16.1% of our goal)
    • We still need to raise $16,785 to reach our goal with 24 days remaining

Clip #2 – Legacy and Bella singing National Anthem at Friday’s Homecoming Game

  • LNSC Members will be singing the National Anthem at this Friday’s homecoming game (September 5th 7:00 p.m.)
  • Call time is 6:00 p.m. and we will sing around 6:55 p.m. or so directly prior to kickoff 

Clip #3 – Show Choir Clinic is this coming Saturday, September 6th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Clip #5 – LNSC and Voices rehearsal schedule for this week

  • Tuesday, September 2nd 3:50 – 4:20 p.m. “Total Body Tuesday” – LNSC September Conditioning Session #1
  • Wednesday, September 3rd – Voices Rehearsal during R6
  • Wednesday, September 3rd during lunch periods – LN Crew Cats display at LN Club Fair in the fieldhouse
  • Wednesday, September 3rd 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Legacy Rehearsal with J
  • Thursday, September 4th during lunch periods – LN Crew Cats display at LN Club Fair in the fieldhouse
  • Thursday, September 4th 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Bella Bravada Rehearsal with G
  • Friday, September 5th 7:45 a.m. – Voices singing “Time” at LN Staff Breakfast outside Senior Café
  • Friday, September 5th 6:00 p.m. call – Legacy and Bella singing national anthem at homecoming game
  • Saturday, September 6th 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. LNSC Show Choir Clinic
