LN Choir Cat Clips for Week of October 27th

LN Choir Members, Crew Cats, and Families,

Welcome back from Fall Break! We hope you had a restful and rejuvenating break and are ready for the next exciting part of our season; finalizing both show choir shows and prepping for Winterfest. Please read through some important info below in this week’s choir cat clips and, as always, we encourage you to check out our website for updated information pertaining to the LN Choir Program.

Clip #1 – Poinsettia Fundraiser

  • Selling Option #1 – We gave out Poinsettia Fundraiser Fliers to all LN Choir students last week, which includes a QR code to purchase poinsettias from LN Choir Boosters online; a link to that same site can be found here
  • Selling Option #2 – Although we do prefer the online orders, we also gave students the option of selling poinsettias to their customers with a paper order form and cash envelope if people would prefer to pay with cash or the LNCB Cash App. These paper forms do NOT need to be submitted for online orders (i.e., Selling Option #1)

Clip #2 – LN Teacher/Staff Talent Show

Clip #3 – Discount Card Fundraiser Starts End of this Week

  • Starting at the end of this week, we will be kicking off our new fundraiser with the LNPA Department
  • We will be asking LN Show Choir and Crew Cats members to sell 10 discount cards
  • Each discount card includes free stuff from local businesses including: a free oil change at Midas; a free sub at Jersey Mikes; a free pizza at Jets; and a free meal combo at Wing Stop! These free items are already worth well over $100
  • If that wasn’t enough, the card also includes reusable discount coupons that can be used every day for the next year. Discounts include, but are not limited to, the following local businesses: 
  • Although each card includes thousands of dollars of value, Each card only costs $25 and if each member sells their ten allotted cards, they will have $50 deducted off their current LNCB account balance

  • Actual cards will be given to students at the end of the week along with envelopes for cash payments and a QR code for customers to pay online

Clip #4 – Next LNCB Parent Meeting (Winterfest Planning) Thursday, November 6th

  • The next all-parent LNCB meeting will be in 2 weeks (Thursday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m.)
  • We will be going over finance updates, fundraising information, and Winterfest Planning Info
  • We need at least 1 representative from each LN Choir and LN Crew Cats family in attendance

Clip #5 – Voices and LNSC Rehearsal Schedule for this Week

  • Monday, October 27th 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Voices Rehearsal with J
    • Monday, October 27th is also the dress rehearsal for the LN Teacher Talent Show
  • Tuesday, October 28th 7:00 p.m. LN Teacher Talent Show
  • Wednesday, October 29th during R6 (Voices Rehearsal during Chamber Choir)
  • Wednesday, October 29th 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Legacy Rehearsal with J
  • Thursday, October 30th 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Bella Bravada Rehearsal with G
  • Friday, October 31st – Halloween (NO Voices Rehearsal)
